Our winter pre season started on the last weekend of January In the first friendly match, we met with 6th league participant TJ Lokomotíva Bánov, the match took place in Šala, where we managed to win 2:1. New players have joined the team, mostly young guys, who are fighting for an opportunity.
A week later, we had an unplanned break, as bad weather raged throughout Slovakia, the match with FC Baník Prievidza had to be cancelled. However, the boys trained during the week according to the regular schedule, in Branč, Nitra and also in Mojmírovce.
Last weekend we played in Zlaté Moravce, where FC ViOn Zlaté Moravce – Vráble B tested us, we played a good match with two different halves against a young team from the fourth division. In the first one, we spent most of the time in the opponent’s half and managed to win the first half 0:1, in the second one we added the second goal in the beginning. In the next course, the opponent started to pressing us at a high level, put us under pressure and deservedly equalized. The friendly match ended in a 2:2 draw.
Next Saturday, 18.2., we will travel to Galanta, where at 11:00 we will have another friendly match.
